Rolf Movement®
Rolf Movement® is an invitation to visit one’s habitual patterns of movement and discover new options. Understanding that our original choices were made with some wisdom, adaptability and an embodied sense of self are our ultimate goals.
This work expands on ideas introduced in a Structural Integration series, taking them into dynamic exploration at the source of impulse via perception and coordination.
Just as with Structural Integration, Rolf Movement® is best when experienced as a series, classically five sessions, with each session building on skills gained from previous sessions.
While it is a practice that clearly complements the hands-on Structural Integration work, Rolf Movement® can also stand alone as a tool for greater body awareness and improved function.
